Save The Dates! Summer In The Square 9-14 July AND 6-11 August!

Our award-winning annual summer festival is back this year with sporting events on the big screen, our Guest Kitchen, food and drink stalls, family fun and health and wellness activities. And the BIG news is that we are extending the festivities across two weeks this summer, tying in firstly with Wimbledon Tennis Championship and then returning with ‘Games In The Garden’ for the Paris Olympics! 

This year we are celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Summer in the Square, which takes place in Portman Square Garden, attracting local workers, visitors, families and members of the local community to come together and enjoy one of the most special private squares in London.  

Following its success in 2023, the Guest Kitchen will return with a selection of the area’s best eateries popping up on rotation, giving visitors a chance to experience a taste of Marylebone. Our drinks partner Home House will be ensuring that visitors are also well-watered! These will sit alongside a variety of street-food stalls providing something for everyone.   

Sustainable wellbeing activities will be on offer through our Wellness Den programme with a range of workshops for the mind and body. This will also include family-fun sessions. Funds raised through these activities will go to our Charity Of The Year, Young Westminster Foundation, which supports incredible youth clubs, charities and specialist organisations offering life-changing programmes for young people across Westminster. 

And of course, there will be plenty of seating (including under cover), lounge seating and a big screen for those who want to watch all the sporting action, or who simply want to relax and enjoy some downtime and socialising. 

We’re excited this year to be partnering Westminster City Council’s Inside Out festival for our Games in the Garden event. The festival brings the city’s world-renowned arts, entertainment and culture into the streets and open spaces of Westminster for all to enjoy, with live performances, cultural walking tours, outdoor exhibitions, family workshops, sculpture trails, installations and pop-up activities in accessible outdoor locations.
