Summer In The Square Wins Award!

We are absolutely thrilled that our Summer in the Square event has been awarded Regional Event of the Year by the National Outdoor Events Association, in a dazzling awards ceremony last week.  Judges commented that Summer in the Square was selected as the winner as it “demonstrated a huge amount of fun for many different audiences”. Not only that, it was also shortlisted in two other categories, Event of the Year Award, and The Place Making Award.  

The annual fun-filled festival in Portman Square Garden has been a popular feature in the calendar since 2014, with live games at Wimbledon Tennis Championships on the big screen, food and drink stalls, games, and a packed programme of health and wellbeing activities as well as family and community activities.   

We know how special this event is for the entire community and our visitors, so being recognised nationally is very special.
