Pedicab Update

Back in February, we reported on the launch of a consultation by TfL into the licencing and regulation of pedicabs in the capital (here). The aim was to make them as safe as possible, including ensuring that they are driven, maintained and operated in a safe and professional way.

Last week, TfL published its consultation report. This summarises what people (7,699 in total) fed back during the consultation and includes the next steps. You can view the consultation report on TfL’s consultation page.

The responses and comments provided in this consultation are being used to develop detailed policy proposals for pedicabs in London. These detailed policy proposals will be subject to a final consultation which will launch later this year.
