Have Your Say: Pedicab Licensing

TfL has launched a consultation seeking views about licensing and regulating Pedicabs in London, with the aim of to making them as safe as possible, including ensuring that they are driven, maintained and operated in a safe and professional way.   

TfL is keen to hear your suggestions for licensing pedicab drivers, vehicles, owners and pedicab operators and give your views on these proposals.

Consultation ends on Friday 7 March 2025. To note – the consultation is about pedicabs which are made available with a driver for carrying passengers for payment or reward, including cargo bikes that can or are used to transport passengers. It does not cover vehicles used to carry freight or other non-passenger carrying services nor does it relate to people that use pedicabs for personal use only.
