Inspiring Education And Employment

Last month, Baker Street-based businesses BDO and Knight Frank hosted an afternoon session in the auditorium at 55 Baker Street for a group of year 10 students from Marylebone Boys School.

Kicking off with pizza and networking on arrival, graduate and school leaver employees from Knight Frank and BDO were able to have an informal chat with the students. This was followed by an introduction to Knight Frank from Tim Robinson and to BDO from Richard Levy, both Board members for Baker Street Quarter Partnership.  There was then an interactive session around values and a panel made up of graduate employees from the two businesses sharing their education and career journeys with the students.

The session was organised as part of our Smarter Giving initiative that works to establish partnerships with businesses and local charities, community groups and schools. The initiative has a particular focus on employment and education, supporting local people into local jobs. More information about Smarter Giving can be found here
