This 45-60 minute session, led by Samaritans trained volunteers, looks at the many and complex issues we are facing and why listening can make a difference.
It identifies the key ingredients of effective listening and what makes a good listener, as well as offering tools for listening. Importantly, it looks at ways in which we can take care of ourselves and our own wellbeing-while having the confidence and skills to support each other.
