Not only are there physical benefits of walking but a mindful walk can be a wonder for your mental health. Join us for a fresh and spritely 30-minute walk around the Baker Street Quarter and Marylebone each month, to clear out the cobwebs and fuzz from our bodies and minds.
With a different route each month, you’ll be able to see the many wonders that Marylebone has to offer but you will feel refreshed and re-energised to take on the rest of the day. Whether you want to listen to music via your headphones, walk in silence or chat with colleagues – this walk is here to help you de-stress and heighten your wellbeing.
Mindful walking has physical benefits, but it can reduce blood pressure and heart rate, create feelings of wellbeing, provide better sleep, improve mood and manage stress. April’s monthly walking club coincides with World Health Day to support health and wellbeing. Walking on a regular basis alleviates fatigues, increases decision making, improves fitness and reduces back pain.
