Wallenberg Place Consultation

Westminster City Council is inviting public feedback on the proposed improvements to Wallenberg Place, designed to create a more attractive, accessible and vibrant streetscape.

The proposals for Wallenberg Place include:

  • Resurfacing on both the carriageway and the footway immediately outside the properties on Wallenberg Place
  • New raised tables on the entry and exit to Wallenberg Place to aid safe pedestrian crossings
  • Public realm improvements including repaving of the central island area, stairs between Great Cumberland Place and Wallenberg Place, new seating and new planter boxes
  • Upgrade of street lighting to improve safety and visibility
  • Repaving of footway on the eastern side of Great Cumberland Place adjacent to Wallenberg Place to create a more pedestrian-friendly environment
  • Enhancing the setting of the Raoul Wallenberg Memorial Statue
