Team Update

Over recent months, with a couple of our team members on maternity leave, we have had a shift around of roles and welcomed some new faces to the BakerStreetQ team. Find out below who’s working behind the scenes to support Baker Street Quarter’s businesses, locals, workers and everyone in between. 
 
Sheena – Community Impact and Sustainability Manager (Interim) 

With Hannah now on maternity leave, we are welcoming Sheena into her role managing our Smarter Giving initiative, building strong relationships between our member businesses and local charities and community groups, as well as oversees our training, wellbeing and member events programme. Sheena also oversees our sustainability activities, supporting businesses in reaching ESG goals and encouraging sustainable behaviours throughout the area.  

Sara – Campaign and Content Manager 

Sara has been with us since the summer of 2023, supporting the marketing and communications team. With Ketura currently on maternity leave, Sara has stepped in to fill her role promoting the area through our various consumer channels, including overseeing our Make It Marylebone promotion campaigns, website and social media. She works closely with businesses to collate their latest news, events, menus, deals and special offers, and supports them in spreading the word and attracting new customers while helping to raise the profile of the area to visitors.   

Ellie – Project & Communications Assistant 

Ellie joined us at the beginning of the year and was thrown into the deep-end overseeing our recent office move! Now that’s done, Ellie’s role is to provide invaluable project support to a number of programmes including Smarter Giving, Operations, Sustainability and Placemaking Programmes, and Communications. 

Rachel – Team Assistant 

Rachel joined us last month as the new Team Assistant providing invaluable support to the team, managing Penny’s diary, organising Board and Steering Group meetings, providing finance support and office management.
