Sustainable City Charter

As a Strategic Partner of Westminster City Council’s Sustainable City Charter, Baker Street Quarter Partnership is supporting our members to take meaningful action on sustainability and work towards net zero.

The Sustainable City Charter brings together businesses and organisations of all sizes and sectors that are committed to reducing carbon emissions and helping drive progress towards Westminster’s ambition to become a net zero carbon city by 2040.

The Charter is a free, voluntary sustainability pledge, supported by Westminster City Council and the Westminster Property Association. It sets out eight key commitments to help businesses reduce carbon emissions from non-domestic buildings, with a focus on areas including energy, procurement, transport, waste and deliveries.

Becoming a signatory provides businesses with an opportunity to make a visible public commitment to sustainability, while helping to identify practical ways to improve environmental performance across their operations.
