Security Updates
14 October 2024

We have a couple of security items to update you on this week:
Delivery Drivers
We are aware of the issues surrounding the large group of delivery drivers and others congregating at the corner of York Street at the northern end of Baker Street. There have been reports of antisocial behaviour and links to crime, as well as being intimidating to members of the public.
Our Operations team is working closely with the Police and nearby businesses to put measures in place to disperse the gathering and our Street Team is carrying out additional patrols to monitor the situation and collate evidence to share with local policing teams.
Please do report any incidents to the Police as well as our Street Team as it helps us to highlight the issue so that police resources can be targeted effectively.
Personal Safety Pop-Up Event
The team at 55 Baker Street is hosting a ‘Personal Safety’ event in the main atrium on Thursday 24 October, from 11:30 to 13:30. The event will include the presence of the local Policing team, offering insightful advice on crime prevention and personal safety protocols. There will also be the opportunity for bike marking. Participants will be offered an opportunity to engage in a Q&A session and acquire personal safety equipment.
If you would like to know more information on this event hosted by 55 Baker Street, please contact us here.
