Phone Snatching Operation

The Metropolitan Police seized over 1,000 stolen phones and arrested 230 people in a week-long crackdown on phone theft in London. The operation targeted hotspots like the West End and Westminster, this operation also included seizing a number of illegally powered electric bikes.

The Met is working with tech companies to improve phone security and prevent stolen devices from being resold. Find out more about the good news story here.
