Martyn’s Law

The Section 27 statutory guidance under the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 (Martyn’s Law) has been published by the Home Office.

The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, also known as Martyn’s Law, will introduce new regulations to ensure the public are better protected from terrorism, requiring certain public premises and events be prepared and ready to keep people safe in the event of an attack.

The newly published guidance provides clear, practical expectations for preparedness, and reinforces a proportionate approach, helping to embed counter terrorism into everyday business operations.
