We are excited to announce the launch of our brand-new destination website for the area, Make It Marylebone. The site is our new home for all things social and pleasure. Whether that’s planning a party, a meal with friends, a romantic getaway, discovering new stores to explore, getting the lowdown from locals on their insider recommendations and finding out about events and activities to enjoy. It’s the complete package for you to get acquainted with. Handy features include an integration with google for ratings and price points in our directory, a favourites bookmark to save and share places you want to check out, clever filters and a fresh aesthetic to help you enjoy exploring more of Marylebone!
This site is for you, as existing users of the area, but also designed with brand new visitors in mind, to help promote and encourage them to experience Marylebone and help it flourish furthermore. Promoting Marylebone and all it has to offer is one of our key priorities as we recognise the importance of attracting visitors to sustain our retail, leisure and hospitality sector, and retain the vibrancy of the area we all enjoy. The eagle-eyed amongst you may have spotted that our Instagram has changed to @MakeItMarylebone and our supporting campaign to launch Make it Marylebone, on display at Marylebone Station…Make it Memorable, Make it Moreish, Make it Unique, Make it Special….Make it Marylebone.
This new site means our existing website has also had a refresh and is now our corporate home, containing everything about us and our role as Marylebone’s Business Improvement District (BID). It features easy to access information for our member businesses and their employees – with details of forthcoming training and wellbeing sessions, information about our corporate giving programme Smarter Giving, our area-wide Smarter Recycling waste collection service, and our new Sustainability Hub with advice and guidance broken down by industry sector. You will also find detailed information about our ongoing schemes and projects to monitor and maintain the streets, such as our Placemaking Strategy, street cleansing, our Street Team and business continuity activities.
We would love to hear your feedback on the two sites – please do get in touch.
