In addition to our own Christmas Lights and walking tour, there’s plenty going on across the wider area to get you in the festive mood!

Chiltern Street

This year sees the return of Portman Marylebone’s Chiltern Street Christmas Shopping evening on Thursday 23 November, 16.30-19.30. The wide range of boutiques on Chiltern Street will stay open late to host exciting in-store events and exclusive offers. Visitors can enjoy Christmas Carols performed by a roaming choir throughout the evening while they browse the stores, indulge in a glass of champagne or mulled wine and begin their shopping for loved ones. Paddington Street Garden: Lighting The Tree

Join the Marylebone community for the lighting of the Christmas Tree in Paddington Street Garden on Tuesday 5 December, 15.30-18.30, with entertainment, performances by St Vincent’s RC Primary School, mulled wine, hot chocolate and festive food.

Seymour Place

Portman Marylebone has a Christmassy activation in Seymour Place – The Chuffed Store – open until 20 December. The Chuffed Store is an entirely independent shop where every item is made by hand in the British Isles. It is going to be a destination to discover truly unique gifts for Christmas.

The festivities don’t end there. Every Thursday night, The Chuffed Store will have a candle lit evening with mulled wine open till 9pm. Bring your friends and get all the Christmas fizzy feelings. Church Street Christmas Lights

Free family festive activities and the switch-on of the Christmas lights is taking place in Church Street, just north of Marylebone station. Featuring choir performances, food and drink and Santa’s grotto! Thursday 30 November, 16.30 – 18.30 (lights go on at 17.30), on the corner of Church Street and Salisbury Street.
