Home House Awarded Sustainability Accreditation

The Home House Collection, made up of the iconic private members club Home House in Portman Square and leading business club Home Grown, has been awarded the luxury industry’s leading sustainability certification, the Butterfly Mark. The Home House Collection is the first private members club group to be awarded the globally respected certification, marking an important step towards a more sustainable future in the hospitality industry.

To get certified with the Butterfly Mark, companies must achieve set standards in each area of assessment: Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG). Home House has taken steps to minimise its impact on the environment and making sure its members feel confident that their time spent at the club is ethical. This has included commitments to sustainable supplier sourcing, ensuring energy efficiency and supporting local community programmes to improve the environment in which they operate. The club has said it will continue to make improvements to help foster a sustainable future.

Andrew Richardson, Managing Director at Home House Collection and Baker Street Quarter Board Member said “We are incredibly proud to be the first private members club group to be awarded with the Butterfly Mark. Sustainability and social responsibility have always played an important role in everything we do at The Home House Collection. We recognise the importance of minimizing the impact on the environment and are committed to constantly keep improving in all areas towards a more sustainable future for our local community, the wider society, and our planet.”
