Have Your Say: Police & Crime Plan for London 2025-2029

Last month, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime launched their consultation on the draft Police and Crime Plan (2025-29) for London. In this document, they set out how they plan to deliver for Londoners, building on the work of the previous two Mayoral terms to make our city safer for everyone.

We know from speaking to members that rising crime rates across the capital are a concern. While in this area crime numbers remain relatively low compared to other parts of central London, we have seen some incidents of thefts of phones and other personal items. Our Street Team continue to work closely with businesses and the Police to monitor the area.

We will be responding to the consultation on behalf of the local business community. Please do let us know if you would like us to include your views. Alternatively, the Police and Crime Plan is available to view here, along with ways to participate:

The formal consultation on the draft Plan ends on Wednesday 12th February, and the final Police and Crime Plan will be published before the end of March 2025.
