FREE Bike Check-Ups

Whether you’re new to riding a bike in the capital, or an experienced cyclist, you’ll want to know that your bike is in good working order, especially during these winter months.

Working in partnership with local social enterprise, Westminster Wheels, twice-weekly drop-in bike check-up sessions have been taking place outside of Marylebone station since October. We are pleased to report that these sessions are set to continue into 2024, every week on revised days – Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7.30 to 10.30.

Commuters, cyclists and those passing through will now be able to take advantage of this service, providing a free bike MOT, with any bigger issues or servicing requirements referred to Westminster Wheels’ main workshop located just behind the station in Church Street.

Westminster Wheels was launched as a social enterprise in 2020 with the aim of providing a much-needed service to the local community and to encourage more people to cycle. In addition to bike servicing and advice, they also offer training to unemployed Westminster residents to gain an industry-recognised certificate in bicycle repair and a six-month work placement.

More information about Westminster Wheels can be found here. If you make use of the bike check-up service, be sure to tag us in a review online and help us to spread the word. Alternatively, if you like the sound of the work that Westminster Wheels do within the community, you can make a donation here that will be invested into the repair workshop and training centre.
