Extra Security Patrols

Extra Patrols This Christmas Season 

The festive season is one of the busiest times of year for our district, and we’re committed to keeping the Baker Street and Marylebone area safe and welcoming for everyone. 

Over the coming weeks, we will be increasing patrols across the area, providing additional reassurance and support for businesses, staff, and visitors during this peak period. 

We’re proud to work closely with the Metropolitan Police Service, whose officers will join our security team for joint patrols and targeted operations to tackle issues such as phone theft and retail crime. 

Recent Joint Patrols 

We are continuing to carry out regular joint patrols with the security team from New West End Company (NWEC) monitoring the gateway between the two areas, to the south of Baker Street, and providing a visual deterrent to anti-social behaviour. 

The Team also continues to meet with officers from British Transport Police to carry out joint patrols to the north of the area, around both Baker Street and Marylebone stations, visiting the shops to discuss issues such as shoplifting, and monitoring the surround streets for anti-social behaviour.
