Crisis Management & Resilience
16 February 2026
Representatives from 19 businesses across the Baker Street and Harley Street areas came together for our annual Crisis Management Exercise last week, facilitated by West End Security Group (WESG) and its team made up of former senior Metropolitan Police officers and counter terrorism experts.
The session gave attendees the opportunity to test their crisis response and business continuity plans through a real-time simulated incident – this time focused around cyber-attacks and a spontaneous protest. Participants assessed their organisations’ preparedness, refined existing strategies, and strengthened their ability to respond to – and recover swiftly from – major disruptions.
Keep an eye on our Training and Events Calendar for details of next year’s exercise.
As a reminder, the team at WESG has also developed a practical Business Resilience Toolkit, designed to help organisations better prepare for the threat of a terrorist incident or other major disruptive events.
The toolkit includes a clear and straightforward checklist covering eight key areas of activity, each supported by relevant guidance and further information. Presented in an accessible, easy-to-follow format, the checklist can be printed to help track progress and ensure all eight areas are being addressed.
