Community Award Winners
12 October 2026
We are delighted to announce that Baker Street Quarter Partnership has been named the winner of the Exceptional Community Partnership Award at last week’s Chiltern Railways Community Stakeholder Conference.
The award recognises an organisation that has “gone above and beyond for their communities by working with other organisations” – a description that reflects the strong and collaborative relationship we have developed with Chiltern Railways since 2023.
Through the partnership, we have supported projects that improve the environment around Marylebone Station, create opportunities for local communities to be represented and celebrated, and provide support to some of the area’s charities.
A great example of this is Marylebone on Display, our community art initiative on the station concourse, which has brought a series of exhibitions to the station featuring inspiring artwork and photography created in partnership with organisations including The Passage, The Marylebone Project and Central London Samaritans. With support from Chiltern Railways’ Community Investment Fund, the initiative has created a platform for local voices and creativity, allowing thousands of people passing through the station to discover more about the community around them.
The Community Investment Fund has also enabled us to introduce new planters at Marylebone Station and along the walking route towards Baker Street Station. Designed to provide a warmer, greener welcome for commuters and visitors, the planters are managed through a dedicated maintenance and monitoring programme with planting that provides year-round interest while supporting local biodiversity.
We’re incredibly proud that this collaborative approach has been recognised through the Exceptional Community Partnership Award. We’d like to thank Chiltern Railways for their continued support and partnership.
