Climate Essentials

Westminster City Council has a range of resources and support available to businesses to help them improve their green credentials, protect them from rising energy costs and support their efforts to cut emissions and carbon footprints.

Climate Essentials for Business can support businesses by providing them with free tools including:

• An easy-to-use online carbon footprint calculator and action planner
• A report outlining your current emissions and bespoke reduction strategy
• 1-2-1 support from independent experts
• Access to further support including grants

Earlier this month, the Mayor announced expansion of the £110m ULEZ scrappage scheme from end of July, meaning thousands more Londoners and businesses are set to benefit. Small businesses registered in London with fewer than 50 employees will be eligible (increased from 10), and charities operating in London will be allowed to scrap or retrofit up to three vans or minibuses instead of just one.
