Charity Of The Year 2024 – Young Westminster Foundation

Each year we adopt a Charity Of The Year and this year we are excited to be supporting Young Westminster Foundation, working with them on new and varied initiatives to support the needs of local young people in the borough. This will include fundraising, volunteering and skill sharing opportunities.

Since 2017 Young Westminster Foundation has been supporting local youth clubs and organisations through grants, training and networking opportunities. Their work helps strengthen services for all young people growing up in Westminster with their vision for young people in the borough to grow up healthy, safe and happy. Through their ‘Needs Analysis’ research they find out directly from young people how they feel about the borough they live in, using this information to ensure that young people and their families have access to the best services and opportunities.

Money raised from those booking on to our wellbeing programme activities will be going to the charity, and the Young Westminster Foundation team will be joining us at our Summer in Square event to fundraise and share information about local charities they support and how people can get involved. We will also be supporting them later in the year through our Christmas Charity Raffle. Further initiatives will be shared through the year.
