Our Newest Free Walk – The Old Marylebone Town Hall

The subject of our newest free guided walk, The Old Marylebone Town Hall, was opened in 1920. The design of this iconic Grade II building on Marylebone Road, by Sir Edwin Cooper was the winner of a design competition back in 1911. The venue has always been a hugely popular choice for weddings, and over the years has played host to more celebrity weddings than any other venue in the UK. Without stealing the thunder of our knowledgeable guide, Mark, as well as discovering the building’s captivating history, you’ll enjoy hearing about all the celebrities who have been married within the stunning ceremony rooms of this fascinating local landmark.

Take a break from the office on Wednesday 27 November and join Mark at 1pm outside 55 Baker Street for this exciting free guided walk, which is part of our Social & Wellbeing programme and aims to get you and about exploring our Quarter.
