Training & Events
To celebrate International Women’s Day this March, join us on a virtual tour to meet the most famous women who lived and worked in the Baker Street Quarter and learn about their amazing lives and stories.
Hear about Emmeline Pankhurst and the Suffragettes, who campaigned for Votes for Women, to housing reformer Octavia Hill and medical pioneers, Mary Seacole and Elizabeth Garrett Anderson.
Not forgetting Wallis Simpson and where THAT affair started, French-born wax sculptor and founder of Madame Tussauds, Marie Tussaud, with her famous wax works and our very own Mrs Hudson – the most famous landlady in history!
