This introductory course explores the key themes of equality, diversity, equity and inclusion. It includes analysis of the key themes, what they mean in practice and an overview of equalities legislation. Exploring the barriers faced by equalities communities and groups, it offers you an opportunity to embed the course themes into practice. By showcasing case studies and introducing cultural competence and intersecting identities, you will be able to put equalities into practice.
