Westminster Climate Fund & Greening Westminster

The second round of Westminster Climate Fund is now live. This is a funding opportunity for community organisations, businesses, cultural organisations and public sector bodies to deliver environmental action and carbon reduction projects in the City of Westminster.
The fund has five categories:
Greener Living: For local community environmental action projects up to £20K.
Community energy and retrofit: For community and voluntary sector to deliver projects to reduce energy bills and increase energy independence locally.
City Decarbonisation: For cultural and business sector, including SME’s, to deliver decarbonisation projects on buildings to reduce energy bills and lower carbon emissions.
Feasibility: To provide technical support and assistance to design carbon saving and community energy projects.
Clean Air: this new category is designed to support community organisations, schools, and public healthcare bodies to improve air quality or reduce exposure to air pollution. This category looks to fund projects that benefit vulnerable groups through capital measures, strategic interventions or projects that raise awareness and behaviour change.

Greening Westminster
The 2026/27 funding round is now open. Greening Westminster is an annual, small grant funding programme designed to improve and increase Westminster’s green spaces and its biodiversity and is open to applicants across professional and community organisations. The programme seeks to connect with and empower communities across to ensure fairer access to high-quality green spaces.

The window to express interest closes on Thursday 26 March and the deadline for full applications is Tuesday 31 March.
