Wellbeing For Parents
21 August 2023
As we near the end of the school summer holidays, many will have faced the challenge of juggling competing demands of work and parenthood, and for some this may have had an impact on mental health and wellbeing. So, we’ve arranged for a FREE webinar for those working parents that need a wellbeing boost.
This 1-hour lunchtime session, taking place on 14 September, will cover developing ways to act compassionately towards yourself to stay well and how to focus on what matters when managing competing demands. Participants will also learn strategies to manage feelings of stress and overwhelm and create a self-care plan for how to thrive going forward.
Coming up, we also have the following health and wellbeing sessions for you to make the most of – all available free of charge to those working locally:
Mental Health First Aid – 25-27 September – this three-day, virtual course will qualify you as a Mental Health First Aider and will provide you with an in-depth knowledge to enable you to support your co-workers. We also host regular networking sessions for those that have completed the course – the next one taking place on 6 October.
Dyslexia Awareness Webinar – 11 October – 1-hour lunchtime session, coinciding with Dyslexia Awareness Week, raising awareness and understanding of dyslexia and help to bring about positive change.
Menopause and the Workplace Webinar – 16 October – 1-hour lunchtime session for employees to learn more about the impact of the menopause and explores strategies for managing symptoms.
