Security And Operations
24 November 2023
Following recent events and protests taking place across the capital, we wanted to remind businesses and their employees, particularly those working in security, facilities and operational roles, that we send out a weekly update of forthcoming activities, such as protests and marches, and street works that may have an impact on the local area and business operations. The update is sent every Friday afternoon and features information, intelligence and resources sent to us by the Police and the Council to help you plan and prepare.
Sign up to the Security & Operations mailing list by emailing us here.
Also a reminder that our Street Team are on patrol seven days a week across the area, monitoring any issues and acting as a deterrent for crime and antisocial behaviour. If you see anything you’re not sure about, they can be contacted here.
Recently, the team were instrumental in the retrieval of stolen goods from some prolific offenders operating locally. They were made aware of the thieves’ location thanks to information provided by a member of security at a building in the area which led to Police attending the scene and an arrest being made.
Crimes should always be reported to the Police, but please do also let us know too – it helps us to build a picture of crime hotspots which in turn enables us to work with the Police to ensure that resources are targeted to those areas.
