Feathers Marylebone Roof Garden

Feathers Marylebone Youth Club is looking for financial donations to buy garden furniture for their roof garden. The garden space was recently refurbished by our small group of amazing volunteers from our member Knight Frank last week.  The team, with the help of landscaping contractor, Urban Planters, worked hard to help the charity to plant new flowers, herbs and vegetables in the much-needed outdoor space that will be used by young people attending the youth club.

Feathers Marylebone provides children and young people from the most deprived areas with educational programmes from Monday to Friday throughout the day and evening. Their aim is to divert young people from anti-social behaviour and crime as well as provide opportunities to gain skills in preparation for further education or employment.

They are looking to improve the space further with the following items, which they hope local businesses will help to fund:

  • 2-seater park style benches x 2
  • Storage bench x 2
  • 6-seater picnic style wooden table and chairs x 1
  • Parasol x 1
  • 3-seater swing set x 1

If your business would be interested in supporting this project, please get in touch with Hannah for more information. Online donations can be made here. This project has been facilitated as part of our Smarter Giving initiative that builds partnerships between businesses and local charities and community groups with activities including volunteering, financial donations and skills sharing, and collection drives.
