Emergency Trauma Packs

The latest of our Emergency Trauma Packs has been delivered to its new home at University of Westminster on Marylebone Road. The pack features medical equipment that can be used during a major incident prior to the arrival of emergency services.

This latest installation follows a similar pack being placed at the southern end of the Quarter by the team at Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill. At both locations, security teams have been trained on the use of the equipment. It is hoped further locations will be identified in future, ensuring the safety and security of visitors and staff are maintained.

The trauma packs are being delivered as part of our Security and Resilience programme, designed to enhance the capacity of the Baker Street Quarter area and the businesses within it to resist, respond, react to and recover from a threat to business arising from a security-related incident. This Thursday 23 March, we have our annual emergency planning and crisis management exercise, delivered by City of London Police Cyber Griffin Unit, designed to help you assess your preparedness, understand how your plans fit with other members and consider how the area might recover from the disruptive effects of a major event. This year, the exercise in particular tests people’s response to both hacking and malware attacks, in addition to physical security threats. More information about the event, including how to register, is available here
