Charity Sponsorship

Local charity, Feathers Marylebone, is looking for corporate supporters to sponsor their ongoing programmes working with young people in the community.

The charity provides children and young people from the most deprived areas with educational programmes from Monday to Friday throughout the day and evening. Their aim is to divert young people from anti-social behaviour and crime as well as provide opportunities to gain skills in preparation for further education or employment. Each of their programmes uniquely impacts the lives of those they work with, with every single intervention with a young person having the potential to change a life. Activities include sport, music, dance, ICT, cooking, gardening, residential trips, traineeships, a Girls & Women’s Club and Volunteer Awards.

The programme of activity is fully reliant on support and fundraising from a range of corporate partners, individual donors and grant giving trusts. With costs of around £350,000 a year to operate and with no guarantee of local authority funding, building sustainable partnerships are vital to ensuring the longevity of their youth and community offer.
