We’re In Portman Square Garden… It Must Be Summer!

Open to us for the first time this year, the normally private and ample Portman Square garden allows us to offer you a wider range of freshly cooked, sumptuous street food from Urban Food Fest and some of our local favourites, plus, somewhere to sit and relax while you enjoy it!

Make a lunch date with your friends and colleagues for tomorrow, grab your cash and, perhaps, a blanket, and plan to stay for a while.

For those of you lucky enough to nab a deckchair, you can sit in the sun (fingers crossed!) and enjoy some quality time out of the office. And so that you don’t have to rush back to work on our account, we’ve extended the Food Market opening times from 11.30 to 15.00.

The only stress you might encounter will be choosing from the superb range of food…

Toropampa – steak sandwich or wrap with chips, can be served with optional chorizo.

Dixiemia – steak and ale pie, fish pie, chicken and leek pie, butternut squash and sage pie V – all served with seasonal vegetables.

Nick & Greek – chicken, mushroom, pork, lamb & beef or halloumi wraps. Seasonal veggies (vegan & vegetarian) chips and dips options.

Taste of Portugal – slow cooked beef with traditional spices and vegetables – tender chicken with a spicy Piri Piri – spiced chorizo in a delicious hearty stew – fresh cod fish served with seasonal vegetables – perfectly cooked prawns and squid in a spicy Piri Piri – delicious homemade vegan spicy.

Flaming Nora – chipotle chicken – marinated grilled chicken in homemade chipotle sauce. Slow cooked pulled jackfruit (V) or citrus pork. Or a naked burrito box – all serviced with garlic rice, pinto beans, sour cream, cheese, fresh tomato salsa, grilled corn and lettuce

Ebby’s Kitchen – freshly grilled halloumi wraps with warmed flat breads with hummus, chilli /garlic sauce and fresh salad.

You Bao – bao buns filled with duck or teriyaki chicken, served with either noodles or rice with spring onion and sesame seeds

Piccolina – pulled pork or beef sandwich served with a rocket salad and homemade red onion chutney in a brioche bun. Mac and Cheese with meat options available to add

Rummanco – jerk chicken, curry goat, vegetable curry. All served with rice and peas and coleslaw, and Jamaican style patties.

Pink Cactus – burritos salad with cheddar cheese, black beans, guacamole/chipotle-mayo/chilli sauce. Choice of chipotle chicken, pulled pork, spicy chorizo and halloumi.

Quinta – Pupusas with sweet potato & spinach, black beans & cheese/ Chili con carne & cheese. Offering Grilled plantains, pulled chicken, curtido (fermented cabbage), Guacamole. Topping choices of fresh coriander, fresh chili and roasted pumpkin seeds.

Chalana – Brazilian style wraps with fillings of steak, chorizo, pulled pork, marinated chicken or grilled halloumi. All served with salad and optional extras.

Sweet Doris – Cinnamon Buns with a twist! They come in a variety of flavours: lemon meringue, lemon blueberry, caramel pecan, Nutella & honeycomb, apple & cinnamon, lemon raspberry and Oreo meets Nutella.

The Street Pig – BBQ ribs, rump steak, coq au vin burgers, shredded BBQ pork in a brioche bun, halloumi and hot dogs. Selection of sides.

Nha Trang Kitchen – lemongrass chicken, caramelized pork, tangy tofu served in a Banh mi (vietnamese style baguette), plus noodle salad

Pasta is Ready – Traditional pasta dishes of tortelloni with basil and pesto, filled with ricotta and spinach; gnocchi and five cheeses; ravioli filled with ricotta and mushroom; gnocchi and bolognaise
