Wellbeing Events at Autumn Graze Market

We’ve brought together a range activities to help support your wellbeing, health and fitness. All events can be pre-booked on Eventbrite below, with a donation fee to our charity partners City Harvest.  This programme is brought to you in partnership with Portman Marylebone. 

Mindfulness Practice for Everyday Awareness  with University of Westminster

Tuesday 22 and Thursday 23 September   12 – 12.40 

Everyday Awareness is about having a better sense of our thoughts, feelings and associations in relation with the external world. The emphasis of experienced practitioner, Yusuf Kaplan from Westminster University’s approach is to encourage establishing a small commitment of pausing ‘little and often’ to reconnect with the present. The session aims to provide a taster, or reminder for those returning, of the usefulness of this practice. 

Boxing Conditioning Class  with BXR 

 Tuesday 22 September  17.00 – 17.45 

Head Boxing coach of BXR, Gary Logan will be taking a Boxing Conditioning class which combines strength and cardio conditioning to strike a total body balance. Alternate between speed and power whilst getting an extra rush from the energy in class. His classes are second to none! Open to all skill levels and designed to be scaled. Beginners are welcome and the class can be adjusted to challenge advanced athletes.

Come and enjoy a fun and active session ‘Zogg Nets’, which will help your child develop their eye to hand co-ordination. It’s very much like tennis!

Thursday 23 September  4:30-5:15 

Boccia, much like bowls is a fun and interactive sport which is easily adaptable for people with any additional needs or life term health condition.

The Beatles Tour visiting locations connected with the Fab Four, including the flat where three of the four Beatles lived and were inspired to write some of their best known songs. You will also find out about the location of the infamous, short lived Apple Boutique which sold fashion and accessories.
