Waitress’s Winning Pies!

The new West End show ‘Waitress’ opens at London’s Adelphi Theatre on 8 February and to celebrate has teamed up with their partner and our member, KitchenAid, for a National Pie Day bake off.

Special guests and members of the wonderful cast, including Shaun Prendergast, were joined by Lucy Horobin from the Heart FM Breakfast Show, who, as well as covering the event on air, also took part in the bake off at KitchenAid’s London Experience Store on Wigmore Street.

The winning pie recipes were, The Key (Lime) to Happiness Pie, Life’s Just Peachy-keen and Polka Dot Peach Pie – all of which came from the Waitresses’ The Musical Baking Book.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the winning pies, but have it on good authority from Mandy, KitchenAid’s store Manager, that they were ‘truly scrumptious and worthy winners’.
