Home Grown Club invite you to join them for the ninth webinar in the series hosted in partnership with Walpole’s Brands of Tomorrow which features Tom Broughton, founder and CEO of Cubitts, the modern spectacle maker, in conversation with Jonathan Heilbron.

Cubitts was founded in 2013 from the kitchen table of a flat on Cubitt Street in King’s Cross, London, with the aim of creating spectacles for people to proudly wear.

Starting with the principle that ‘your face is the most beautiful canvas you have’, Cubitts believe that you should frame it accordingly. Engineered for the wearer’s eyes, Cubitts marry traditional methods with modern technologies to create frames for advanced vision and better living. All of their spectacles use the finest materials, and are designed so they can be serviced, repaired and cared for – a true life companion.

Meet the creative mind who continues to pioneer in a world that is itself challenging the ‘norm’, as he shares his insight into the need for innovation, creativity and agility in this new era.

Jonathan Heilbron is former Chairman of Walpole’s Brands of Tomorrow and now partner of Redrice Ventures, Walpole’s strategic early stage investment partner.

Laughter for a Lifetime Workshop

Laugh away your tension. Giggle in goodness. Release stress and boost your happiness and wellbeing. Join Amelie Appleby for her 40 minute online ‘Laughter for a Lifetime’ workshop.

The Laughter Workshop is experiential, interactive and upbeat. The laughter exercises she shares are low impact, fun, suitable for all ages. Attendees are advised to be dressed appropriately for the camera and have their windows and doors closed in advance. You will be moving around and it gets wonderfully noisy with all the group laughter building joyously throughout the session. By the end, everyone will be relaxed, smiling and both physically and mentally invigorated.
