Up And Coming Baker Street Station Works

The escalators at Baker Street station that run between the mid-concourse level and the Bakerloo line ticket hall, will be out of service – one at a time – from 7 January to 3 March while digital advertising panels are installed. Throughout the works, the escalator which is in service will run in the up direction. Customers entering the station wishing to access the Bakerloo or Jubilee lines, will need to do so via the Metropolitan line platforms. Customers will need to walk down the fixed stairs on each of the Metropolitan line island platforms that leads to the mid concourse. From there, other escalators will continue to run down to the Bakerloo and Jubilee line platforms.
