TfL, Helping Make Your Journey Safe
10 June 2020
As the government eases lockdown, TfL has complied specific resources for businesses to help employers advise their teams on how to return to work as safely as possible, including a Briefing for Businesses and a specific Briefing for Retail.
Whilst TfL services are almost up to pre-coronavirus levels, to adhere to social distancing, capacity is greatly reduced and, in line with government guidance, users must now wear a face covering. For those who have no option but to use public transport, rest assured that as well as introducing social distancing measures, which includes opening up the area outside Baker Street Station, TfL has introduced an enhanced cleaning regime across all services.
Where possible, the advice is to walk or cycle to your destination. To support this, TfL is converting some streets to walking and cycling only, which will allow more space for social distancing. In addition, TfL has announced that 15% more Santander Cycles will also be available at key areas. We are also working with our partners to deliver more secure spaces for bicycles parking across the Quarter.
