Supporting The Quarter’s Vulnerable

With temperatures remaining low and more cold weather around the corner, Westminster City Council has activated its Severe Weather Protocol (SWEP) which means additional emergency support, health and wellbeing resources and shelter spaces are opened for all rough sleepers.

If you are in the area and have spotted someone who may be vulnerable, you can alert Streetlink directly or our Street Safety Team to offer support if required. Indicators of hypothermia are pale and cold skin, uncontrollable shivering, shallow breathing, a weak pulse and memory loss.

Our Street Team have been working with the Council, as well as the police and community teams, particularly closely over the last ten months. You can read more about our Street Safety Team’s work here
