Don’t Miss The Last Food Market Of The Year In Portman Square Garden!

Choosing between some of the best street food vendors in London can be tough, and this week’s cracking line-up isn’t going to make it any easier for you… especially when, for the last time this year (!), you can grab a seat and eat outside with your friends and colleagues in the sunshine.

So, make the most of the summer, and your lunch break, and come along and enjoy the lovely Portman Square Garden where there’s plenty of room for everyone. Our last Food Market of Summer in the Square, this Wednesday 7 August, will be open from 11.30 to 15.00. Next month’s food market will back back undercover at 55 Baker Street…

Try to choose, if you can, from this month’s line up of top street food vendors thanks to Urban Food Fest…

New to the food market, Kitchen at Holmes –  with a selection of dishes from their restaurant and bar menus, including amon Ibérico croquettes with aioli and nutmeg, aubergine tempura with dukkah and Greek yogurt, courgette spaghetti, topped with pistachio pesto and smoked ricotta, Adriatic cuttlefish with black wild rice, or Wagyu rump steak served with chips and pluma de Ibérico Bellota & sumac served with romesco sauce and padrón peppers

Bill’s – chicken & sesame dumplings with Bill’s chutney, halloumi burgers with char-grilled red peppers, hummus & red onion on a sesame seed bun

Toropampa – steak sandwich or wrap with chips, can be served with optional chorizo

Nick & Greek – chicken, mushroom, pork, lamb & beef or halloumi wraps. Seasonal veggies (vegan & vegetarian) chips and dips options

Rummanco – jerk chicken, curry goat, vegetable curry. All served with rice and peas and coleslaw, and Jamaican style patties

Sweet Doris – cinnamon buns with a twist! They come in a variety of flavours: lemon meringue, lemon blueberry, caramel pecan, Nutella & honeycomb, apple & cinnamon, lemon raspberry and Oreo meets Nutella.

Nha Trang Kitchen – lemongrass chicken, caramelised pork, tangy tofu served in a Banh mi (Vietnamese style baguette), plus noodle salad

Pasta is Ready – traditional pasta dishes of tortelloni with basil and pesto, filled with ricotta and spinach; gnocchi and five cheeses; ravioli filled with ricotta and mushroom; gnocchi and bolognaise

Smoky Gaucho  – smoked steak, chicken and chorizo meats served in a fresh naan bread roll with a selection of sauces and fresh salad

Cookie Monster – a selection of homemade and freshly baked cookies

Cannon & Cannon – biltong/ dried meats

Spoon & Rice – Filipino inspired dishes with rice and fresh salad: Manila Pork Skewers, Pinoy Grilled Chicken, Filipino Sweet Sausage

Matildas Waffles – waffle cones filled with various fillings such as mac’n’cheese and deep fried chicken

Berlin Doner – chicken or beef doner meat served with fresh salad in either a wrap or crispy bread with fresh salad and option sauces – vegetarian option available

Hyderabadi Dhaba – selection of traditional Indian dishes: chicken, lamb or paneer tikka, served as a wrap or in a salad box
