Show Stopping Food Tour & More!
9 February 2018
We’re delighted to be supporting the Marylebone Food Festival, the very first official food festival in Marylebone, with a host of activities to showcase the diverse cuisine in the Quarter.
Join us as we get your taste buds tingling with a sizzling lunchtime Food Tour on Thursday 15 March at 13:00. This one hour tour full of tasters and samples will offer an alternative lunchtime experience as we stop at four of the trendiest restaurants in the area. From delightful Indian treats at Roti Chai, Turkish tasters with a modern twist at Yosma and seasonal British cuisine from the Montagu and Grazing Goat – come hungry and don’t forget to wear your walking shoes!
Our starting point will be at 55 Baker Street where the tour will be split into two groups with each one being led by one of our regular walk guides. You can book your place for this unmissable event here. The Marylebone Food Festival is raising money for its charity partner, Food Cycle Marylebone, we recommend a donation of £5 per person when booking this tour through Eventbrite.
Food Cycle Marylebone is a local charity that is tackling hunger and loneliness by using volunteers to cook healthy meals from surplus food. To support their work, we’re also hosting a 10-day food drive throughout the Festival period. These will take place at various locations throughout the Quarter, please get in touch if you would like to set up a drive in your organisation to support their fantastic work.
As we approach the 10 day festival between 8-18 March, we’ll be releasing further details of our themed Food Market taking place on Wednesday 14 March as well as other activities that will leave you itching for more! Find out more about the Marylebone Food Festival events and activities here.
