Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre Returns With 2019 Season!
1 April 2019
As the evenings get lighter and we head towards summer, there’s no better time to start planning your visit to the beautifully unique, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. And to launch the season, they’ve given Baker Street Quarter Regulars an exclusive offer to save up to 50% on tickets on their first production, the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Our Town.
As day breaks on another ordinary day, the townsfolk of Grover’s Corners go about their business: newspapers are delivered; people go to work; gardens are tended to. And a boy and girl fall in love. But as life’s events unfold and a community comes together, one question remains: “do any human beings ever realise life as they live it? Every, every minute?”
The 2019 season also includes Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the hit musical Evita, and the opera Hansel and Gretel, which continues last year’s collaboration with English National Opera. On Sunday evenings there’s MOREoutdoor with one of comedy gigs including Shappi Khorsandi and Adam Kay, and films including a sing-a-long Mary Poppins Returns, A Star is Born, and Monty Python’s Life of Brian.
