Q&A With Tyjhan, Events And Admin Assistant At BakerStreetQ

Tyjhan Cabey has joined our team here at BakerStreetQ as Events and Admin Assistant. Having previously worked at the Crafts Council as Creative Coordinator, Tyjhan will be working on all things events, training and social media related. Q. What experience do you bring to the role of Events and Admin Assistant?
I have over six years of experience within the events industry, ranging from small meetings and gatherings to major industry events. Within my previous roles I have developed an understanding of how to create meaningful experiences for consumers and businesses, through use of space, time and great organisation. I’m looking forward to bringing my skills to this role and developing them further.
Q. What were your highlights working at the Crafts Council?
Being part of an organisation that is community based is what I loved the most. Looking at what the public’s needs are within the craft community and being part of a team that ensures those individuals have a space to feel heard and important was an amazing feeling.
Q. What are you most looking forward to working on at BakerStreetQ?
I look forward to learning more about the different aspects of the Baker Street Quarter every day and getting involved in all kinds of projects and events.
Q. What is your favourite place in the Baker Street Quarter?
I enjoy visiting the great gardens within the Baker Street Quarter. I enjoy the quietness and peacefulness of them.
Q. What are you listening to at the moment?
I enjoy listening to jazz throughout the day, I like lots of different jazz selections.
