Power Outage Preparations

Westminster City Council is encouraging all organisations to ensure that business continuity plans are reviewed and up to date, with particular focus on making sure that plans are in place should there be a loss of utility supply, including electricity. While the Council has not been made aware of any immediate risk to supply, it’s important for utility companies, statutory bodies and all other organisations to be prepared.

 We have our next Table Top Exercise – our area-wide event that uses a simulated major incident scenario to test our members’ continuity plans  – taking place on Tuesday 21 March 2023. These sessions are arranged as part of our Increasing Security & Resilience programme for the area which aims to prepare businesses to be able to react, respond to and recover from a major event or security incident should one occur.
