Ooty Now Fully Open – Win, And See For Yourself!

Ooty specialises in the cuisine of southern India and comprises of three distinct spaces, an 80-seat fine dining restaurant; Ooty Club, a colonial-style basement bar and now, Ooty Station, an all-day casual dining space and cocktail bar.

Taking its name from the idyllic Indian station town in the mountains, Ooty on Baker Street, is the first restaurant venture between two entrepreneurs and friends, both passionate about food, Pooja Nayak and Aseela Goenka. The kitchen, however, is in the experienced hands of Manmeet Singh Bali, formerly head chef at Michelin-starred London restaurants Rasoi and Vineet Bhatia London.

Ooty’s cosy and luxurious fine dining restaurant offers a modern take on the refined, aromatic cuisine of southern India, with its abundance of spice and pulses, as well as fresh fish and vegetable-based dishes. Alongside a focus on quality, sustainable meat dishes, Ooty also caters to a vegetarian diet, with meat-free options.

Reflecting its more casual ‘drop in’ feel, the menu in the more contemporary Ooty Station, which opens onto Dorset Street, focuses on light snacks and hearty bowls, served from breakfast through to late evening. Finally, venturing downstairs into the splendid Ooty Club, the drinks menu includes a selection of cocktails inspired by railway journeys through India.

But we need not say any more about Ooty for some of our lucky readers as we have some fabulous prizes that will enable you to sample Ooty for yourself. We have two complimentary meals for two and a cocktail each in the Ooty restaurant to the value of £50 to be won.
