31 January 2022
We have a host of training opportunities coming up for BakerStreetQ members, from Mental Health First Aid to IOSH Managing Safely.
Starting off February in the right way, we offer how to optimise your back’s health with West 1 Physiotherapy and Pilates, as they offer the solution to the current working conditions of working from both your home and the office on Wednesday 2 February. Book via our website.
Mental Health First Aid returns on 8 to 9 February and there are a few places left on the course, so sign up by emailing us. This three-day, virtual course will qualify you as a Mental Health First Aider and provides in-depth knowledge to help you support your co-workers through interaction sessions. Further information is available here.
On 21 March, a three-day, structured IOSH course with the British Safety Council will help you gain knowledge, skills and confidence to manage health and safety within your team and workplace. IOSH Managing Safely is a very highly regarded training opportunity, and we are able to offer this to our members at a heavily discounted price of £100, a substantial saving for a Managing Safely certificate from the world’s largest health and safety membership organisation. Book here.
We’re pleased to schedule another in-person Emergency First Aid course running on 22 March. It’s always one to book up quickly, make sure you reserve your spot. We also have a couple of spaces left on Fire Marshal Training on Wednesday 23 February, after the January session booked up in record time.
Just announced and now available to book, we have an Equality, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion course taking place on 24 February and an IEMA-Approved Environmental Awareness training course on 30 March.
We’ve got a jam-packed wellbeing series lined up too. Join Gem & i yoga on Friday 4 February for our ever-popular Slow Flow Yoga and Words session and learn about the Fabulous Marylebone Women of the Past on Tuesday 1 March. Learn about the brain’s workings on Tuesday 8 March and understand sleep – and how to get more of it – in our evening session on Friday 18 March. Join our regular host Laurie Bolger for Creative Writing and Mindfulness on Monday 21 March, and our Connections session on Wednesday 30 March will help you create greater resilience and resourcefulness. All events are bookable via our website.
Do you have an idea for our training course series that you’d like to see on offer through Baker Street Quarter? We’re always looking to expand our programme, so drop us a line on [email protected].
