New Opening: Hästens

We’re pleased to welcome Hästens to the Quarter as the Swedish luxury bed brand’s new store opens today, 12 April, at 79-81 Wigmore Street. To celebrate the shop’s opening, Hästens is hosting two online events with experts to help you get a better night’s rest, with further events in May:

13 April, 7pm: How Breathing Impacts Your Sleep

Did you know that how we breathe impacts our physical and mental health, sleep and performance? Learn to access the power of breath with breathing expert Patrick McKeown, who will guide you through simple exercises to improve your everyday breathing and enhance your health.

27 April, 7pm: Gut Health For Better Sleep

Registered Nutritional Therapist Practitioner Laura de la Harpe will talk about the benefits of gut health to enable better sleep. A Member of the Institute for Functional Medicine 2015 and qualified DNA Life practitioner, Laura frequently appears on the likes of BBC Radio, BBC News and Sky News, and will share her top tips in this session.

11 May, 7pm: How Nutrition Affects Your Sleep

Sue Alexander and Reg Lenney have a combined 70 years of knowledge and teaching in the health and wellness industry. Co-owners of Rijooviness, known as The Lifestyle Architects, they design health and wellness programmes. Together they will be sharing how to get amazing sleep using food, supplements, protein pacing and fasting. Discover how food affects children and helps them sleep, and how our internal environment reflects how we rest and rejuvenate.

25 May, 6.30pm: Why Correct Breathing Is Crucial For Your Child

Join breathing expert, Patrick McKeown learn how to help your child breathe well, grow well and sleep well. Patrick is a certified Buteyko breathing instructor, creator of the Oxygen Advantage® and bestselling author.
