New Free Virtual Walks

We’re delighted to announce several new free, virtual ‘tours’ that you can sign up for to learn a little more about the Quarter. All our virtual tours take place for an hour at 12.30, so if you’ve been missing our lovely streets and squares it’s a great way to relax and find out something new during your lunch break.
Transport Through Time
Wednesday 10 February, 12.30 – 13.30
Join our Blue Badge Guide, Mark, on a virtual walk through the transport that has been used to carry passengers in and around the Baker Street Quarter, past and present, from the horse drawn carriage (like those used by Sherlock Holmes), omnibus, train and tube to taxi services.
Literary Greats
Wednesday 24 February, 12.30 – 13.30
Find out the stories behind some of the country’s most famous writers and where they created several of the masterpieces of British literature, with our Blue Badge Guide Mark.
Public Art Trail
Wednesday 10 March, 12.30 – 13.30
Take a virtual stroll around the Quarter with Blue Badge Guide, Mark, and get acquainted with the many notable pieces of art that are dotted around the area.
SOE and the Secret Service
Thursday 25 March, 12.30 – 13.30
Learn the Quarter’s top secrets with Blue Badge Guide, Mark, as he uncovers the history of the SEO (Special Operations Executive) and the most selfless heroes of WW1.
