Marylebone Launch First Food Festival
18 January 2018
The Marylebone Food Festival – the very first official food festival in Marylebone, is being brought to you by The Portman Estate and The Howard de Walden Estate. The inaugural 10-day celebration of one of London’s most exciting and diverse culinary destinations starts 8 March 2018.
In support of this extravaganza of an event, we will be providing a host of corresponding events, including a 10-day multi-point food drive, our very own themed Food Market, and an assortment of exciting tours and experiences. Plus, of course, we’ll be keeping you up-to-date with everything that’s going on.
The festival kicks off with the ultimate dining experience set in the most dramatic venue – The Church of the Annunciation, Marble Arch, where local favourites such as Trishna, The Providores and Lurra, to name but a few, will serve their delectable creations accompanied by fabulous wine pairings from local wine bars Clarette, Le Vieux Comptoir and Blandford Comptoir.
Festival highlights include the Marylebone Street Kitchen, Saturday 17 March in Cramer Street – a free all-day al fresco food fiesta with a twist, masterclasses and workshops, cook-offs, tastings and talks, with street food and drinks from the likes of The Grazing Goat, Hoppers, and 108 Brasserie. Neighbourhood restaurants, cafés, bars and food shops, will also offer one-off collaborations, food tours and exclusive dining experiences.
Entry to events will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Tickets for the launch dining experience go on sale today at a cost of £150 per person.
