HSBC Sustainability Event

Baker Street Quarter member, HSBC, is hosting a sustainability business support session for small businesses in the area – including those that don’t bank with HSBC. The event will take place on Wednesday 25 January, 10.00 – 12.00 at the HSBC branch at 88 Baker Street, W1U 6AX.

As sustainability becomes a greater focus for SMEs, there are opportunities for your business to stand out in a crowded market by clearly outlining its ESG commitments and policies.

Hosted by HSBC’s Sustainability team, the event will welcome ESG and sustainability organisations, Brighter Compass and Heart of the City, who will be highlighting quick ways you can make changes to help support the transition to net zero, as well as guided support from HSBC Sustainable finance ambassadors. Representatives from University of Westminster will be there to talk to attendees about consultancy services available to businesses as part of their Carbon Impact Project. You will also have the chance to network with fellow local businesses to share insights and connect. Refreshments will be provided.

The event is open to SMEs with a turnover of up to £10m or with an employee count of up to 250, however, as HSBC has other departments that can support larger businesses, representatives from organisations that fall outside of those figures are also welcome.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Emma Saunders at [email protected]
